3 Trauko OD prototypes.

Whammy IV ‘Settings’ Switcher.

Here it is, finally done. It works like a charm. If you can’t make out the wiring, I’ll post instructions later on how it’s wired.

Crappy video showing how it works.

I make these for a friend of mine. This one happens to be the prototype of a new version of the Custom Trauko(two switchable Volume/Gain controls).

This was one of the first OD pedals I ever made. As cool as it was, I didn’t use it much because I had fallen in love with the Timmy Overdrive. I gave my Timmy clone to someone who had his gear stolen, and recently I  made one for a friend. I missed it a lot and decided to recycle my modified OD-1 since the board and some parts could be reused. Here is how it went:

Done! Recycled Cutec enclosure, pots and knobs too! It also sounds pretty good, even with the input and output buffers. I’ll cover the extra holes with some plastic plugs and may finish it in flat black laquer. I also need to make a back plate for it.

It starts with the enclosure above. Powder coated by and drilled by me. Then it comes cutting the board to size and populating it.

Off-board wiring.

Off-board wiring done.

Knobs in place and back plate on.
