Main board out.

Remove the chips to be replaced.

Start the work on the main board. Cut a few traces here and there, install a couple of extra parts rewire it closer to an original AP-2/Boss DM-2 to make the new chips work.

Turn the LED around and remove its limiting resistor.

Chips to be replaced.

Put them in.

Remove the pins from the main board that connected to the plug to the buffer/relay board.

Remove parts to be re-used from the relay/buffer board.

New power supply filtering Input/Output board.

Main board installed and LED limiting resistor soldered.

Input/Output board installed and LED wired to its power supply.

3PDT switch installed and wired for true-bypass.
