First problem. Neck pickup screws too long, hitting the bottom of the routing cavity.

The screws left this marks which  I followed to drill deeper holes and make space for them.



Second, the wiring as it came.

New wiring.

Even though they measured fine, the volume and one tone control were not doing what they should. I had a set of old alpha potentiometers of the same value an taper removed from another guitar which I offered to install free of charge.

Sure they are not new, but they work great and got the job DONE!


Although the taper of the potentiometers where the same, they didn’t feel exactly the same. So they ended up being replaced with CTS 500K Audio ones.
